Most medicine is built for the average patient, who doesn't exist. The same dose, the same formula, sent to millions of people who share nothing but a diagnosis. We started The Chemist Shop in 2007 to work the other way: to build each medication around the one person it's actually for.
That means the exact strength a provider orders, in a form the patient can actually take. An allergen left out. A flavor made bearable. A dose designed for a real person, not the average statistic. It's slower. It's harder. It's the whole point.
We're pharmacists first. And we still believe a prescription should be made for the person taking it.
