How it works

Clomiphene citrate works in men by blocking estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus, which increases the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), leading to enhanced testosterone production and potentially improving sperm count and fertility.

Side Effects

The side effects of clomiphene can include hot flashes, abdominal bloating, mood swings, breast tenderness, nausea, blurred vision, headache, and in some cases, the risk of multiple pregnancies.

Storage

Store at room temperature (68–77°F / 20–25°C). Do not refrigerate or freeze.

Clomiphene is classified under Pregnancy Category X by the FDA, indicating that it is contraindicated in pregnancy because it can cause harm to the fetus when administered to pregnant women.
