What is a compounding pharmacy?
The Chemist Shop is a specialty compounding pharmacy. Most pharmacies dispense medication exactly as the manufacturer made it; we prepare it for the individual patient. Our pharmacists work with your medical team to build a formula around your health needs, and they can suggest a different dosage form when the standard one doesn't work for you. We compound pediatric, veterinary, hormone replacement, and sterile preparations, among many others. That work takes training and a solid knowledge of treatment options.
